How to use your Tumblr blog as an openID. It also seems that if you use IntenseDebate instead of Disqus, you can allow openID users to comment.Setting your tumblr blog to be your OpenID is super easy.
First, go to Customize, then click on Theme, and down at the bottom get to where you’re editing raw HTML.
Somewhere in the
<head>tag, you’ll want a few lines like this:<link rel="openid2.provider" href="https://myvidoop.com/openid" /> <link rel="openid.server" href="https://myvidoop.com/openid" /> <link rel="openid2.local_id" href="http://mtrichardson.myvidoop.com" /> <link rel="openid.delegate" href="http://mtrichardson.myvidoop.com" />You’ll need to switch out http://mtrichardson.myvidoop.com with your own OpenID and https://myvidoop.com/openid with your own OpenID server endpoint.
That’s it, though.
Now you can use your tumblr blog as an OpenID.
